Packing list for trekking in Greenland
How people prefer to pack for a good long trip in the mountains is very individual. Unlike normal multi-day mountain hikes, on this trip we do not have the hassle of carrying many kilos on our backs during the day’s hike.
I naturally think you should make use of the opportunity to bring a little extra luggage to treat yourselves to an extra sleeping mat, a painting easel, fishing gear, walking poles or whatever suits you exactly. Just be aware that, because of excess weight on the plane, you must not exceed 20 kilos in your rucksack and 8 kilos in your hand luggage.
The packing list below is by no means exhaustive, and you should pack whatever suits you best. However, as a minimum you must bring the items marked with an asterisk*.
