Clothing
Here you will find advice and guidance on clothing for your trip to the Arctic regions with Greenland Travel.
We are a travel agency with many years of experience in travel to Greenland, Iceland, Svalbard and Antarctica. We therefore also know which things you should have on your packing list – both clothing and other essentials you may need.
What clothing should I pack for my trip?
At Greenland Travel we know that the right clothing is an important prerequisite for getting the most out of your trip. Our destinations invite active holidays in nature in both summer and winter. We have many years of experience of what is good to bring on a trip to the Arctic regions.
Informal clothing following the layering principle
In general, dress in Greenland is informal and practical.
In restaurants you are just as welcome in jeans and a jumper as in a jacket and tie. The same applies to Iceland, the Faroe Islands and our other destinations. For each individual trip you will always find a specific packing list for that particular trip. Of course, it is also sent to you once you have booked a trip.
Whatever the season, we recommend dressing according to the layering principle, where the outer layer should be waterproof and windproof. In summer, both shorts and a short-sleeved T-shirt can be comfortable. However, always remember your jumper and long trousers too, as the weather is changeable.
