We take care of all the practical matters and our guide team in Greenland offer assistance during your vacation. However you are completely in charge of how many Greenlandic experiences you wish to treat yourself to.

Day 1, Thursday, flight to Ilulissat
Flight from Copenhagen to Kangerlussuaq. After a short stopover we continue to Ilulissat. Transfer from Ilulissat airport to Hotel Hvide Falk. After check in at the hotel your guide will give an information meeting and a short introduction to Ilulissat.

Day 2-3, Friday – Saturday, days in Ilulissat
In Ilulissat you may venture out to the ice fjord and the old settlement of Sermermiut. You can go by boat to the village of Oqaatsut, offering you a scenic 5-hour hike back to Ilulissat.

Or you may be thrilled by the all-day boat outing to the Eqi glacier and witness its icy calving, marveling at the lights and colors scintillating over the many icebergs floating in the Disko Bay.

Day 4, Sunday, by coastal ship to Sisimiut
The coastal ship departures in the afternoon and your journey continues by ship along the west coast of Greenland. You sail south and pass by the gigantic icebergs of the Ilulissat Ice fiord. There is a good chance of whale spotting on the way to Sisimiut.

In the evening there is a short stop in the town of Aasiaat. Enjoy the magnificent view, the midnight sun and the fresh air either outside on deck in one of the rest chairs or from within in the panorama lounge.

Day 5, Monday, arrival in Sisimiut
You arrive at Sisimiut before 12 a.m. Transfer to Hotel Sisimiut, check in and welcome meeting by your local guide.

Day 6-7, Tuesday-Wednesday, Sisimiut
The days are at your disposal for optional excursions.

Sisimiut is the second largest town in Greenland and has a lot to offer. The town has an active fishing industry and there is always something going on at the harbour.  Visit the local artists and see how they create the famous tupilaks, also visit the museum and the church.

Sisimiut is situated at the coast with an inland that offers very good opportunities for hiking, either on your own or with a guide.

Day 8, Thursday, musk ox and the Inland ice cap
Flight from Sisimiut to Kangerlussuaq. Check in at Hotel Kangerlussuaq. After arrival your guide will welcome you with an information meeting.

Kangerlussuaq is just a few kilometers north of the Polar Circle. It is a former American military base, now the main gateway to Greenland with daily flights from Copenhagen. The town is situated only 25 kilometers away from the gigantic ice cap. We recommend an excursion to the ice cap.

Day 9, Friday, Kangerlussuaq
A day in Kangerlussuaq at your disposal. We recommend one of the many popular excursions or a day hike. Flight to Copenhagen in the evening with early arrival in Copenhagen Saturday.

Day 10, Saturday, early arrival to Copenhagen
You arrive in Copenhagen early this morning.
